With the addition of a new FC400V, IET Combustion in Penrith, New South Wales, maintains round-the-clock operation. Given their continuous and fluctuating demand for compressed air, a VSD screw compressor was the optimal choice to meet their specific needs. The system includes a 185 cfm Focus Refrigerated Air Dryer, a 1000-litre vertical air receiver tank certified to AS1210, and both pre and post filtration. This setup ensures a reliable, efficient, and clean supply of compressed air to power their manufacturing processes over the long term.

IET Combustion specialises in high-end food processing equipment. As a family-owned operation, they build large-scale machines used for corn chip production, which are shipped to companies around the world. Their completed machines are massive, occupying up to four shipping containers.

Focus Industrial has been supporting IET Combustion’s growth for nearly 12 years. Five years ago, we installed a 30 kW screw compressor at their facility, which complemented an earlier 15 kW package installed five years prior. With this latest expansion, they upgraded to the VSD screw compressor setup while retaining the previous unit as a backup. This required expanding their compressor shed to accommodate both machines, ensuring uninterrupted operation and continued growth.
