Gantiel Vensott Revamps Production with Cutting-Edge High Efficiency VSD Compressed Air System

We recently completed a cutting-edge compressed air system installation at Gantiel Vensott’s Wetherill Park facility, upgrading their operations with a 22KW SB300V VSD Screw Compressor and air treatment equipment. This upgrade was designed to meet the increasing air demands of their manufacturing processes, delivering improved efficiency and reliability.

The SB300V VSD Screw Compressor, manufactured in Italy, was selected for its robust design and energy-efficient performance. This variable-speed, base-mounted unit provides up to 10-bar pressure and operates on a 50amp 3-phase power supply. The 5-year warranty ensures long-term reliability across Gantiel Vensott’s operations.

To optimise the system, we installed a Focus RDF113 Refrigerant Dryer, which features an automatic condensate drain and runs on a 240v 10amp power supply. This dryer ensures that the air remains moisture-free, protecting downstream machinery from contamination.

Additionally, we integrated a 1″ Pre and Post Filter Housing System, featuring 1-micron and 0.01-micron filter elements. These filters further purify the compressed air, ensuring clean and dry air reaches all critical equipment.

The installation involved connecting the new system to Gantiel Vensott’s existing 20mm piping through 32mm aluminium compressed air lines. To accommodate the new compressor, the roof of the compressor shelter was extended by 2 metres, ensuring adequate ventilation and space for servicing. Once installed, the system underwent full commissioning to confirm optimal performance.

This cutting-edge upgrade guarantees Gantiel Vensott an energy-efficient, reliable compressed air solution that meets their current needs while allowing room for future expansion.
